Derived from red algae found particularly in Spain, Chile and Japan, agar-agar forms a gel when dissolved in water. Thanks to this property, it is useful for regular bowel movements and for promoting normal stool volume and consistency. Furthermore, its properties make it useful for limiting and regulating the absorption of nutrients. Erba Vita’s Monoplanta capsules are a range of plant-based dietary supplements in capsule form, consisting of standardised formulations that guarantee a consistent supply of active ingredients and unaltered quality over time.

Directions
It is recommended to take 2 to 4 capsules a day, half an hour before meals, with water. Agar-agar may reduce the absorption of certain medicines if taken at the same time. It is therefore recommended to take the product at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after any medicines.
Composition
Agar-agar (Gelidium amansii J.V.Lamour.) powder, inulin, maize starch, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids (vegetable). Casing: vegetable capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose). Amounts per maximum recommended daily dose (4 capsules): Agar-Agar powder: 1312 mg; Inulin: 295 mg.
