The Maqui is a plant native to the Patagonia region; it is an evergreen that produces small, blueberry-like fruits. For the Mapuche people of Chile, Maqui has always been an integral part of their diet: the fruits are eaten as they are and used to make an alcoholic drink, whilst the leaves are used for medicinal herbal teas. Thanks to its antioxidant action, Maqui helps to counteract the effects of free radicals. Erba Vita’s Monoplanta capsules are a range of plant-based dietary supplements in capsule form, consisting of standardised formulations that guarantee a consistent supply of active ingredients and unaltered quality over time.
