Muco.Vit Junior, a fluidising and emollient formula, is a food supplement based on plant extracts and Manuka honey. Extracts of Iceland moss, ivy and thyme help to thin bronchial secretions, whilst extracts of grindelia and plantain support the function of the upper respiratory tract and, in synergy with the Iceland moss extract, promote an emollient and soothing effect on the oropharyngeal mucosa. Alcohol-free and strawberry-flavoured, it is particularly suitable for young children.

Directions

For children aged 3–4 years, the recommended dose is 5 ml, 1–3 times a day. For children aged 4–6 years, the recommended dose is 7.5 ml, 1–3 times a day. For children aged 6 years and over, the recommended dose is 10 ml, 2–3 times a day.

Composition

Water, Acacia honey, fructose, concentrated apple juice, Grindelia (Grindelia robusta Nutt.) aerial parts with flowers (glycerine extract), Manuka honey, Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis L.) root (dry extract), acidifier: citric acid; Plantain (Plantago lanceolata L.) leaf dry extract, standardised to 1% verbascosides and 5% total polyphenols calculated as gallic acid; Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum (Roth.) G. Don.) aerial parts with flowers, dry extract; Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica (L.) Ach.), thallus, dry extract; Thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.), leaves, dry extract, standardised to 0.3% thymol; thickener: xanthan gum; natural flavouring, preservative: potassium sorbate; Ivy (Hedera helix L.) leaves, dry extract, standardised to 10% hederacoside. Amounts per maximum recommended daily dose (30 ml): Acacia honey 6.7 g; Manuka honey 500 mg; Grindelia aerial parts with flowers, glycerine extract 1000 mg; Marshmallow root, dry extract 275 mg; Plantain leaves, dry extract 150 mg, standardised to 1.5 mg verbascosides and 7.5 mg total polyphenols; Iceland moss thallus dry extract 150 mg; Helichrysum aerial parts with flowers dry extract 150 mg; Thyme leaves dry extract 100 mg, standardised to 0.3 mg thymol; Ivy leaves dry extract 50 mg, standardised to 5 mg hederacoside.
